426 ABS Services offers the amazing opportunity to enjoy the exhilirating sport of rock climbing. We are taking a three prong approach to make this happen. Beginning with the introductive training, which will develop into advanced skills enabling climbers to become assistant instructors or trip leaders. This will eventually cultivate into a climbing advisory origination. Therefore encouraging and inspiring future climbing adventures!

Introduction to Climbing: Enjoy the amazing sport of rock climbing. We will take you to a nearby climbing area where you will learn the basic skills required to climb outdoors. After which you will have plenty of opportunity to climb and explore.

Course includes transportation, equipment and instruction.

Cost is FREE and the maximum participation is 6.

Minimum Age is 12. Those under 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Warning: Climbing is inherently dangerous. No amount of equipment or training can make climbing safe. Therefore, this informatino should be considered hazardous and used for entertainment purposes ONLY.


Climbing Areas


Dale Climbing Area
Dale is a extensive climbing area with many routes, most of which are VERY difficult. There are several sport routes located at N 58 54.188 E 005 47.134
Map You can also find climbs suited for mortals around the N 58 54.327 E 005 47.241 a good resourse for beta consider Klatring i Rogaland it is the only published climbing guide for the area.

Forus Climbing Area
This is a small 10 meter tall climbing area which is well bolted and a good place for beginners and new leaders. There are only 3 or so routes, 2 are very difficult. The Area is located at N 58 53.961 E 005 43.129 Map There is no guide book for this area. you will not need one.

Route 1: Trad gear to 2. Bolted anchor. Difficulty 5.7
Route 2: Bolted sport route. Bolted anchor.
Route 3: Trad gear to 1. Bolted anchor.
