Welcome to Stavanger, Norway! Stavanger and the surrounding areas are filled with things to do.  During your stay here, you will definitely be mesmerized by the beauty of this wonderful country.  Stavanger offers many attractions to include volunteer opportunities.  The 426th ABS Chaplain works with volunteer organizations in the area to help match individual interest to need.  The Stavanger area has an organization to fit most volunteers’ desires.  From working with children and youth, to training as a part of the local search and rescue, we attempt to provide volunteer opportunities that will both fill your spare time and help you get more acquainted with NATO and the surrounding area.  In addition, we have a need for volunteers on base to work in Services and in the Post Office.  If you would like information about a specific organization, you can call the chaplain’s office at 5195-0559 (DSN 314-224-0559).
